Empowering Academic Leaders in O&G: Integrity, Purpose, & Resilience

11th January 2025 -  UM LEAD had the privilege of hosting a half-day leadership programme for the Conjoint Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Zenith Hotel, Putrajaya. 

This impactful event brought together academic leaders from Universiti Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and International Islamic University Malaysia to explore key leadership themes of integrity, purpose, and resilience. 

The programme featured three insightful sessions: Datuk Dr. Anis Yusal, Executive Director of UM LEAD and INPUMA, presented on "The Importance of Integrity in Leadership"; Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato' Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, Former Rector of IIUM, shared his thoughts on "The Purpose of Academic Leadership"; and Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood, Executive Director of Sunway Centre for Planetary Health, discussed "Navigating Leadership Challenges in Planetery Health: Driving Change for a Sustainable Future." 

In a heartwarming highlight, the programme was also attended by a baby, marking the youngest participant to date and adding a unique touch to the event.
