Driving Leadership and Governance in RMK13: Bridging Technology and Values for Sustainable Development

6th September 2024 - Datuk Dr. Anis Yusal, Executive Director of UM LEAD and INPUMA was invited as a speaker for the session ‘Balancing Transformation Technology with Value-Driven Governance: The Cornerstone of Development’ at the RMK13 Kick Off Conference, organised by the Ministry of Economy.

Held at Movenpick Hotel & Convention Centre, KLIA, this conference serves as a crucial platform for knowledge-sharing and discussions on the direction and action plans supporting economic growth, social progress, and environmental sustainability.

The 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13) aims to establish a clear strategic direction for strengthening the nation’s development over the next five years, grounded in the MADANI Economy framework: ‘Memperkasa Rakyat.’

UM LEAD plays an important role in this dialogue by fostering leadership that is capable of navigating complex challenges, bridging technological transformation with value-driven governance, and ensuring that leadership development is aligned with the nation’s long-term goals. 

The conference brings together local and international experts and stakeholders from various sectors, including public agencies, state economic development corporations, NGOs, CSOs, industries, international institutions, and academia.
